On March 29th, a group of adventurous women laced up their boots and braved the cool spring air for our “Into the Mist” hike to Waterfall Canyon in Ogden, Utah—and let us just say, the vibes were immaculate.
We started our morning bright and early, fueled by coffee, anticipation, and layers upon layers (because Utah weather likes to keep us guessing). The trail wasted no time getting our blood pumping, with a steady incline and rocky switchbacks that reminded us we’re stronger than we think. Along the way, we were treated to incredible views of Ogden. Thank goodness there was no snow on the trail!
As we climbed higher, the waterfall mist started to roll in—giving everything an ethereal, almost otherworldly feel. And then, we heard it: the thunderous rush of the 200-foot waterfall echoing through the canyon. We rounded the final bend, and there it was, crashing down in all its spring-fed glory. Cue the oohs, ahhs, and a lot of windblown selfies.
We lingered for a while at the falls—snacking, laughing, and just taking in the moment. Some of us perched on boulders, letting the mist soak our jackets and refresh our spirits. As always, it wasn’t just about the hike, it was about the connection. Strangers at the trailhead became fast friends by the waterfall.
And for a little extra motivation? We were stoked to hand out Waterfall Canyon trail badges from our friends at Timpanogos Hiking Co. These beautifully designed patches gave everyone a tangible (and very cute!) reminder of what they accomplished—and they’re perfect for pinning to your pack or jacket to show off your trail cred.
We wrapped up the day feeling accomplished and grateful.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for this moody, magical adventure. If you missed it, don’t worry—we’ve got plenty more trails (and waterfalls!) ahead.
